Hesaraghatta Grasslands

Hesaraghatta Grass Farm, Karnataka, India

The Hesaraghatta Grasslands (officially designated as the Greater Hesaraghatta Grassland Conservation Reserve) is the last remaining large, open savanna grassland ecosystem in the Bengaluru region. The Birdwatchers’ Field Club of Bangalore

Bangalore’s oldest group of birdwatchers now answers to a new name — BlrBirders! In spirit, we continue to be The Birdwatchers’ Field Club of Bangalore. Our new name reflects a renewed commitment to sharing the joy of birdwatching through inclusive, volunteer-led walks, talks, and community activities. Our goal is to spark curiosity, nurture respect for nature, and encourage stewardship of Bengaluru’s wildlife habitats.
